Union Square Holiday Market

The city changes around Christmas time. The weather get a little colder, the shops get busier, and everything is decorated like the North Pole.

So a few days before Christmas, my aunt and I decided to take a trip into the city. We knew we’d end the day with the tree in Rockefeller Center, but we wanted to do something different.

Thanks to a quick Google search, we found the Union Square Holiday Market.

The market was full of art and jewelry from a variety of artists. They also had a decent selection of food truck-esque vendors.

These mirrors were so cool!

Walking around the market was like walking around an Etsy page. Each booth had something handmade and gave you the opportunity to meet the artist. The shops were a little pricey for my taste, but it was fun to walk around with my aunt and window shop.

Even if you’re on a budget, it’s worth a train ride to see what the market has to offer.

Can’t wait to go back next year!
