Hope everyone had a great New Year’s!
I still haven’t accepted the fact that the holidays are over. It’s the start of a new tax season and this girl is not happy about it. The start of the new year also means that I have to renew my license and eat fewer carbs. Nothing is fun anymore.
We had a great rooftop view of New York and I bruised both of my legs while climbing down the fire escape.
I think I’m in denial because I am turning 25 at the end of the month. I frequently remind myself that I am a quarter of a century old and still live with my parents. I was happy living a naive life as a 24-year-old. When you’re in your early twenties, everything is cute. You can pull certain things off that would seem sad otherwise (mostly in the life choices department).
24: You still go to Target with your mom? Adorable.
25: Target? You have bills to pay. Stop making your mom drive you to Target while pretending it’s a bonding experience. You don’t need new leggings.
It’d be funny if this didn’t just happen yesterday. I bought a new coat (again).
I guess I’ll have to make the most of what little time I have left at 24…or buy a large pizza and eat it while openly sobbing.
